When OUTsurance started their business more than 10 years ago and announced that they would be paying out OUTbonuses, few realised the impact this would have on the insurance industry.

In September 2008, OUTsurance have paid out more than R500 million in cash OUTbonus payment and is the only insurer to have done so.

Types of insurance cover offered by OUTsurance:

Personal Cover:
Contents Insurance – covers all your personal possessions which are inside your home and which belongs to you or any members of your household who live with you.

Building Insurance – covers the immovable structures on your property; these are all the permanent fixtures, fittings and improvements (such as walls, roofs, your swimming pool, gates and gate motors, underground pipes and cables.)

Car Insurance – OUTsurance covers any SA registered car, motorcycle, LDV, caravan or trailer.
OUTsurance also offers Business Cover options that includes Vehicle Insurance Cover, Business Interruption Cover, Employer’s Liability, and Employee Dishonesty. You can also choose Electronic Equipment, Stock, or Money as stand-alone options under Contents Cover.
